This course provides all material needed to take the SPBLA Master Plumber Exam. If you do not need the material, select the "no materials" option below. We recommend attending at least 4 classes, but you may attend up to 7 for no additional charge.

SPBLA 2025 Baton Rouge Master Plumber Exam Schedule:
Feb 1st
April 5th
July 12th (Shreveport)
August 16th
October 11th

The Master Plumber exam consists of a three (3) part written exam.

Part I of the examination is three (3) hours and eighty (80) questions and is based on the following materials:
  • 2021 International Plumbing Code 
  • 2021 International Residential Code 

Part II of the examination is two (2) hours and twenty-five (25) questions and is based on the following material:
  • Title 51, Public Health – Sanitary Code, Part XIII (13). Sewage Disposal (December 2022 edition)

Part III of the examination is two (2) hours and forty (40) questions and is based on the following material:
  • NASCLA Louisiana Master Plumbers and Master Natural Gasfitters Guide to Business, Law, and Project Management, 2nd Edition
