This course can provide all material needed to take the SPBLA Master Plumber Exam. Please select items you need below. If you do not need the material, select the "no materials needed" option. We recommend attending at least 4 classes, but you may attend up to 7 for no additional charge.

SPBLA 2026 Baton Rouge Master Plumber Exam Schedule:

February 7th
April 11th
July 11th (Shreveport)
September 12th
November 7th

The Master Plumber exam consists of a three (3) part written exam.

Part I of the examination is three (3) hours and eighty (80) questions and is based on the following materials:

2021 International Plumbing Code
2021 International Residential Code

Part II of the examination is two (2) hours and twenty-five (25) questions and is based on the following material:

Title 51, Public Health – Sanitary Code, Part XIII (13). Sewage Disposal (December 2022 edition)

Part III of the examination is two (2) hours and forty (40) questions and is based on the following material:

NASCLA Louisiana Master Plumbers and Master Natural Gasfitters Guide to Business, Law, and Project Management, 2nd Edition
